SERVE. LEAD. INSPIRE.

My 3rd-Year college year experience became more exciting when I became more active for the college. It is because that year I was able to become part of the CMT Student Council Family.

It was during the last week of June, 2015 when Ma'am Mangalile assembled a party that she wanted to represent the College. And that time, she called me and offered me a position. At first, I was hesitant if I would be able to do the responsibilities and tasks that will be assigned to me - whatever that position is. I started to doubt myself in my capability to serve as a leader.

However, it is not my first time to serve as leader. In fact, I serve four-times as a Class President during elementary and because an active class officer during my high school years. Also, during my second year in high school, I was lucky to serve Saint Ezekiel School as the 2nd Year Representative and lastly, became the School's Student Government President. I know how heavy the duties and responsibilities of a leader.

Despite of my doubts, I accepted the offer - an offer that would open more opportunities for me to learn and become a better servant leader. I've answer Ma'am Mangalile, "Yes, I accept it." And from that time is the first day of my journey as a leader. Even though we knew that we don't have an opponent that time, we are still not complacent because we know that every Executives has a voice - a right to vote their choice.

The University Council Election came past and the result is now to be revealed. The result has spoken. We are accepted by our bosses, the Executives (CMT students) to serve them as their servant leader for the whole school year. The journey doesn't end here. It is just the beginning of everything. We do not do any campaigns nor posted our faces to the walls of the school yet they still believe in us - and that trust, we shall never break.

The University Student Council conducted one of the most memorable event for all leaders - the Induction of Officers. The event was conducted last July 29, 2015 at the CEU Centrodome. It was attended by different officers from different college councils and organizations and also by the year level officers.

This induction is the start of a new journey in leadership for the newly elected officers and their way to demonstrate their skills in giving service to its schoolmates. This event is not possible without the support of deans, general advisers, organization advisers from different colleges and the Vice-President for Academic Affair, Dr. Carlito Olaer who attended the said event and give his advice in giving best in leading the goals of the university.

By this, I congratulate my co-officers in the CMT Student Council Family as we begin to serve the college! Congratulations also to our new general adviser, Dr. Neri!
